"Hello" Mrs. Roberts said. "Welcome to the Joberts team. Um...let me take attendance."
It was move up day and I was so exited to meet my new teacher, Mrs. Roberts. It had surprised me how strong her accent was since is was used to Mrs.Parkin's voice, she had an accent but it was not nearly as strong. I knew it was going to be a great year!
"Alexandria B?'
"Here"
"Colin B?"
"Here"
"Ellie D?"
"Here" I replied shyly
"Nolan G?"
"Here"
It went on like that for a while until the last name was called.
"Marijke?"
"Here"
Finally where done! I thought to myself. Mrs. Roberts started talking about a bunch of different subjects I had never herd before. Then another class came in, "Another class?" I said to Mia who was right beside me. "That's Mr. Joe's class" she explained "You will be with them a lot"
